Kelly McAvoy , D.V.M.

Dr. McAvoy is a Burlington, North Carolina native and she received both her college degree and Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University. She began working in Nash County Animal Hospital in March 2004. Her areas of special interest include exotic animals, feline medicine, and alternative medicine.

She is married to Jobe, and they have a large family of pets; a dog named Free, two rabbits, Ember and Star; a boa constrictor named Scout, and ten beautiful cats,Ross, Gulliver, Hayes, Loppy, Connor, Anna, Emmet, Mowgli, Worf and Kipling.
