Additionally, she has worked at an integrative medicine practice where she obtained her acupuncture certification from the CuraCore Veterinary Academy in 2020. While Dr. Hogg enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, she particularly enjoys preventative care medicine, behavior and nutrition, exotic animal medicine and geriatric medicine.

When not at work, you can find Dr. Hogg crafting, cooking new recipes, gardening, and just enjoying being outdoors. She shares her home with her significant other and their wonderful crew of animals which includes three parrots, one cat, and the best senior beagle possible, Murphy.

Dr. Bernadette Rivet received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Minnesota, and received her degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Edinburgh at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, in Scotland. From the United Kingdom, she moved back to her native France and practiced veterinary medicine near Dijon for four years, before moving back to Minnesota and practicing a combination of general practice and emergency medicine.

Dr. Rivet’s interests lie in veterinary surgery & animal welfare, so she enjoys volunteering her time for various spay/neuter clinics. Dr. Rivet moved from MN to NC in June of 2024 with her two cats Nyx & Nero. In her free time she enjoys biking, training her cats to perform tricks, pursuing creative outlets, cooking, gardening and horse riding when she gets the chance.
